Box Score CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - Led by a career-high 23 kills from Cathryn Cheek (Coppell, Texas), the Drake University volleyball team pushed UNI to five sets before UNI prevailed, 3-2, Friday evening at the McLeod Center.
Cheek's 23 kills matched a career high and came on 63 attempts to lead the Bulldogs. MVC leader UNI (16-6, 10-0 MVC) was paced by 25 kills from Karlie Taylor. UNI won by set scores of 25-19, 23-25, 25-15, 22-25, 15-5, to remain unbeaten in Missouri Valley Conference action.
Cheek also added eight digs while setter Paige Aspinwall (Dayton, Minn.
