BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Drake University volleyball team closed out the FAU invitational with a pair of 3-0 wins on Saturday afternoon over Florida Atlantic and Bethune-Cookman. With the two wins, the Bulldogs improved to 3-1 on the young season heading into Tuesday' home opener against South Dakota State.
"This was a strong weekend for the entire team and I'm happy with the results," said Drake head coach Darrin McBroom. "We got some great experience with a solid opening weekend against some strong Division I teams."
Kyla Inderski (Urbandale, Iowa) led the Bulldogs on offense again with 14 kills and 10 digs in the team's 25-16, 27-25, 25-20 win over FAU.
