DES MOINES, Iowa - The Drake University volleyball team finished the final day of the Hotel Renovo-Wildwood Lodge Invitational by grabbing a 3-0 victory over UMass Lowell before falling to Iowa in the final match of the tournament, 3-0, at the Knapp Center.
Drake defeated UMass Lowell by set scores of 25-22, 25-13, 25-16 and fell to Iowa, 34-32, 25-23, 25-15.
The loss was the first of the Bulldogs' season as they are 9-1 heading into the last week of non-conference action. Additionally, the Bulldogs have won 27-of-31 sets they have played in this season.
