The Drake University volleyball team travels to Normal, Ill., to make its first appearance at the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament since 2010 this week. The Bulldogs open tournament play Thursday, Nov. 23, against Indiana State at 5 p.m.
The Bulldogs' MVC Tournament appearance comes on the heels of what has been one of the team's most successful seasons in program history. The Bulldogs 23-9 record to date marks the third most wins in program history and the 12 MVC wins are the second most in program history in an 18-game MVC schedule. The MVC tournament appearance is the ninth in program history.
