NORMAL, Ill. – The Drake University volleyball team, in the midst of one of its most successful seasons in school history, had three student-athletes garner All-Missouri Conference honors, the league announced Thursday during its annual awards reception.
Drake Kyla Inderksi (Urbandale, Iowa) and Cathryn Cheek (Coppell, Texas) collected first team All-MVC honors while Emily Plock (Altoona, Iowa) was named to the MVC's All-Freshman Team.
Inderksi and Cheek's selection to the All-MVC first team marks just the second time in program history and first since 1996 that the Bulldogs have had two representatives on the All-MVC first team.
