SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Drake University volleyball team fell to Missouri State, 3-1, Saturday evening in Springfield.
Missouri State (13-5, 4-2 MVC) won the first set (25-19) and Drake (8-6, 3-3 MVC) took the second (25-23). The Bulldogs lost the third set by two points (25-23) and the fourth set by four points (25-21).
Senior set a new career-high with 25 kills and tallied 14 digs.
Maddy Bushnell recorded 15 kills for the Bears.
Drake returns to Des Moines to take on Indiana State on Friday, Oct. 15 at 6 p.m. at the Knapp Center.
