CHICAGO, Ill. - The Drake University volleyball evened its Missouri Valley Conference record with a 3-1 win at Loyola Saturday, Sept. 29, evening.
The Bulldogs pushed past Loyola by set scores of 25-22, 25-19, 14-25, 25-23. (Mundelein, Ill.) led Drake (13-5, 2-2 MVC) with 14 kills on 33 attempts along with 14 digs. (Janesville, Iowa) and (Allen, Texas) also had a strong night in the middle with a combined 20 kills between the pair.
Paige Aspinwall (Dayton, Minn.) engineered that offensive attack with 30 assists while adding 11 digs for another double-double. (Ankeny, Iowa) added 22 digs on defense for the Bulldogs.
