The Drake Men’s Basketball team has been a much stronger team at home (4-7) than away from it (2-11) this season, and it looked to use a packed Knapp Center to their advantage holding one of its the biggest crowds of the season with 4,724 in attendance. The Bulldogs won their last game at home, an 80-70 triumph over Bradley, and had hoped that the good vibes from that game would translate into Saturday’s matchup with the University of Northern Iowa Panthers, a much tougher opponent.
Unfortunately for Drake, last week’s win didn’t prove to be an impetus and the Bulldogs were picked apart by the UNI offense on the way to a 66-82 loss.
