Seniors Haley Morris (Clive, Iowa) and Ali Smith (Lenexa, Kan.) of the Drake University women's soccer team were named to the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Women's Scholar All-North/Central Region Second Team, the USC announced Tuesday, Dec. 12
This past season, Morris was named the 2017 Missouri Valley Conference Goalkeeper of the Year, an All-MVC First Team selection and a member of the MVC Scholar-Athlete First Team. She started 18-of-19 matches, recorded six shutouts and tallied 92 saves. Morris' 12 wins this year tied for the single season program-high for a goalkeeper.
