The Drake University men's and women's track and field teams are set to again face some of the nation's top track and field teams this weekend at the Iowa State Classic on the Harry Hoak Track. The Bulldogs will line up against a combined 22 ranked teams between the men's and women's fields including the likes of Florida, LSU, Virginia Tech.
Action at the Iowa State Classic begins at 11 a.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. on Saturday.
Last week at the Husker Invitational, the distance runners turned in some of the top performances in school history against top competitors including Arizona State, Auburn, UCLA, Texas, Missouri and Kansas.
