The Basics
Drake Track and Field will be competing in the MVC Outdoor Championships hosted by Indiana State University from May 3-5 in a jam-packed three-day competition.
Outlook
The host Sycamores of Indiana State were selected as the favorites by league coaches. Indiana State's men got all 10 votes while the women earned nine of 12 possible votes. Murray State and Illinois State also received nods on the women's side.
The Drake men were tabbed fifth in the pre-championship poll while the Bulldog women were eighth.
