AMES, Iowa – The Drake University track and field teams turned in four individual performances that rank in the top-10 all-time at Drake during Saturday's Big Four Duals in Ames, Iowa. The annual dual meet pits the Bulldogs against their three in-state rivals in Iowa, Iowa State and UNI.
Despite the strong individual performances, Drake was defeated by its three foes while Iowa State claimed three team wins in both the men's and women's competitions.
In the distance events, Emma Huston (Des Moines, Iowa) turned in the third fastest 3,000-meter time in school history to win the event with a time of 9:37.
