The Drake University men's and women's track and field teams head to Ames, Iowa, to compete in the Iowa State Classic Friday, Feb. 14 and Saturday, Feb. 15 at the Lied Rec Center.
The Bulldogs are sending more than 30 student-athletes who will compete against seven of the top 25 teams in the country -- No. 2 LSU, No. 6 Indiana, No. 10 Iowa State, No. 13 Baylor, No. 15 Kentucky, No. 19 Kansas, and No. 25 Minnesota.
Drake returns to the track six days after the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational, where the teams recorded two school records and numerous personal bests.
