ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Drake University senior Reed Timmer (New Berlin, Wis.) has been named the Enterprise Bank & Trust Missouri Valley Conference Men's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the third time in his career. Timmer shared this year's honor with Loyola's Clayton Custer.
Timmer has earned the honor all three years he has been eligible for the award and is just the second three-time Scholar-Athlete of the Year, joining fellow Bulldog Adam Emmenecker.
Timmer was also one of four Bulldogs to earn a spot on the MVC Scholar-Athlete Teams as Nick McGlynn (Stoughton, Wis.
