Timmer Moves Into Top-10, But Drake Falls To Missouri State, 76-73

DES MOINES, Iowa – The final two minutes of Saturday's game between the Drake University men's basketball team and Missouri State saw three lead changes and two ties before MSU ultimately ended up on top for a 76-73 win at the Knapp Center.

The Bulldogs' next-to-last shot with seven seconds remaining was blocked by MSU's Obediah Church to preserve the Bears' win. The block was Church's sixth of the game to go along with his seven points and nine rebounds. Missouri State (16-13, 7-9 MVC) also got a tremendous performance from Alize Johnson with 23 points and a staggering 21 rebounds to set a Knapp Center record for rebounds in a game.
