The Drake University men's and women's tennis teams competed at the ITA Division I Central Regional Championship over the weekend. The women played at the University of Iowa and the men competed at the University of Nebraska.
For the women, sophomore Ines Stephani was the only Bulldog to win a singles match, but fell to Rachel Hanford of Minnesota, 6-4, 6-1.
The doubles team of Millie Haagensen and Darinka Stephan topped a team from Oral Roberts, but later lost to Minnesota, 6-4.
The women are set to host the Bulldogs Classic Nov.
