KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Senior midfielder Mueng Sunday (Coralville, Iowa) of the Drake University men's soccer team has been named to the watch list for the 2016 Missouri Athletic Club's (MAC) Hermann Trophy.
Sunday started 18 matches for the Bulldogs last fall before suffering a season-ending injury in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament semifinal match against Bradley on Nov. 13. Sunday, who was tabbed to the 2015 All-MVC First Team and to the NSCAA Division I Men's All-West Region First Team, tallied a team-leading seven assists and scored one goal.
A total of 64 NCAA Division I players from around the country have been named as contenders for the MAC Hermann Trophy.
