AMES, Iowa – The Drake track & field team had one final tune-up before the Missouri Valley Conference Championships at the Iowa State Alumni Invitational on Saturday, May 6.
Anthony Barmes continued his dominance in the men's hammer throw with a heave of 227-1 to win the event followed in second by teammate Ethan Marshall (205-1).
Centaine Noom-Duckworth set a new personal best in the women's hammer throw for third in the meet with a toss of 187-8.
Chandler Haight (50-0) reached the 50-feet plateau again to finish fifth.
