MANHATTAN, Kan. – After 36 holes on Colbert Hills Golf Course at the Wildcat Invitational, the Drake men's golf team currently sits in a three-way tie for eighth place after shooting a combined 597 on Monday, September 12.
Freshman Cale Leonard led Drake on the course with a team-low second round score of 73. Improving his second round from his first by one stroke, Leonard found himself tied for 25th place at the end of the day.
Drake sophomore Jack Dumas' fall season got off to an impressive start after connecting five birdies on the front nine to help put him in a tie for fourth at two under (70) in the first round, before firing a 79 in the second round.
