IOWA CITY, Iowa - Following a midweek matchup at in-state rival Iowa, the Drake University softball team is set for its home opener, March 30-31 against Bradley at Buel Field. The Bulldogs are scheduled to travel to Iowa City Wednesday for a 5 p.m. game before kicking off a three-game series versus the Braves. The series starts Friday with a doubleheader at 2 p.m. before the series finale Saturday at 12 p.m. All three games against Bradley will be broadcast on The Valley on ESPN3.
After picking up two wins last weekend over Indiana State, Drake (21-9, 5-0 MVC) is the only Missouri Valley team to remain undefeated in conference play.
