PALO ALTO, Calif. – Following a season-opening 3-2 performance at the Doc Halverson UNI-Dome Classic, the Drake University softball team heads out west for the Stanford Invitational, February 14-16. Drake is scheduled to take on Hofstra three times throughout the weekend starting Friday at 4:30 p.m. CST and the host Cardinal squad twice. Drake (3-2) is coming off a promising opening weekend in the UNI-Dome, where the team took home three wins, including two shutouts.
