STARKVILLE, Miss. – The Drake University softball team will look to continue its strong start to the season as it travels to the February Freezer, hosted by Mississippi State, Feb. 16-18.
The Bulldogs will open the weekend Friday against Murray State at 12:30 p.m. before taking on host Mississippi State at 5:30 p.m. Drake opens Saturday with a 4 p.m. matchup versus the MSU Bulldogs again before playing the Racers again at 6:30 p.m. The team will close out the weekend Sunday with an 11 a.m. meeting against South Alabama. Both Mississippi State and South Alabama are receiving votes in the latest top-25 polls with Mississippi State tallying 47 and South Alabama with seven.
