DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Drake Univeristy softball team run ruled Missouri State, 8-0, in five innings to win the final home game of the season on Senior Day.
Prior to the game, the Bulldogs recognized their four seniors --
In the bottom of the first, was the Bulldogs first batter and swung at the first pitch she was thrown. She slammed a ball over the right field wall to record her 11th home run of the season and put Drake on the board 1-0.
Three batters later, Ryan stepped up to the plate and doubled to left field, allowing to score and give Drake a 2-0 advantage.
