DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University softball team closes the regular season at Buel Field against Missouri State this weekend, May 5-6. The teams will play a doubleheader Saturday starting at noon and close the regular season Sunday at 11 a.m. All three games will be broadcast on ESPN+.
Drake (38-10, 21-1 MVC) clinched the Missouri Valley Conference regular season title championship this past weekend with two wins over Loyola. The Bulldogs swept the Ramblers in a doubleheader to start the series for their third-ever MVC regular season title and second in the past four seasons (1993, 2015, 2018).
