Bruce was a 2018 MVC Scholar-Athlete Team Honorable Mention selection and has been on Drake University's Dean’s List and President’s List. The senior has studied abroad in Seville, Spain, and Guadalajara, Mexico.
She has been active on campus, serving as the Vice President of Drake's Student-Athlete Advisory Council and also served as a leadership team member for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Bruce was also a Bucksbaum Lecture Speaker Introduction (introduced Megan Rapinoe’s lecture). Her volunteer activities at Drake have included a role as Morale Captain for a Miracle Network Dance Marathon and a volunteer assistant for a high school girls basketball team.
