ANCHORAGE, Ak. – The Drake University men's basketball team dropped its second game at the GCI Great Alaska Shootout with a 64-58 loss to UC Davis on Friday, Nov. 25, at the Alaska Airlines Center.
Drake (1-4) got a career-high 15 points from redshirt-sophomore Casey Schlatter (Iowa Falls, Iowa) but could not overcome a late, 9-3, run by UC Davis (5-2) or a 15-rebound deficit on the glass that sealed the victory for the Aggies. Schlatter's career night came on 5-of-7 shooting with a 5-of-5 night at the free throw line with three rebounds and two assists.
