ST. LOUIS -- For the second time this season, Lucas Scherf was recognized by the Missouri Valley Conference for his efforts on the course. Scherf was selected as the MVC Men's Co-Golfer of the Week, the league announced on Thursday (March 23).
Six MVC men's golf programs (Drake, Belmont, Bradley, Missouri State, Murray State, and UNI) competed at the Missouri State Intercollegiate hosted by Millwood Golf Club this past Monday and Tuesday. Scherf (70-72-71--213) tied for fifth place in the event with Missouri State's Carter Lee, who he shared the Golfer of the Week honor with.
