DES MOINES, Iowa – After playing in the East-West Shrine Game last Saturday, former Drake University standout Eric Saubert accepted an invitation to play in the Reese's Senior Bowl as a late addition on Thursday. The game will be held on Saturday, Jan. 28 in Mobile, Ala., kicking off at 1:30 PM CST and broadcasted live on NFL Network.
Last week, Saubert generated a lot of buzz at the Shrine Game and had an impressive week of practice leading up to the game. In fact, during the NFL Network's broadcast, analyst Mike Mayock identified Saubert improved his draft stock and thus "made money" by impressing scouts throughout the week.
