DES MOINES, Iowa – Cortni Rush, a Mason City native and a three-year Drake women's basketball letterwinner, has joined the Drake women's basketball coaching staff as its new coordinator of basketball operations, head coach Jennie Baranczyk announced Thursday, April 12.
"I am super excited to welcome Cortni back," Baranczyk said. "Her return is a testament to the way our alums feel about our program and Drake. She has been successful everywhere she has been and I know she will do great. I loved coaching her and love coaching with her now."
Rush played in 83 career games with 10 starts for the Bulldogs over three seasons after she transferred to Drake after an All-American freshman season at North Iowa Area Community College.
