DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University rowing team has added Beatrice Kearns (Iowa City, Iowa), Kait Leeper (Carmel, Ind.), Ana Manolis (Roseville, Minn.), Autumn Palmer (Crystal Lake, Ill.), Geeya Patel (Woodridge, Ill.), Amanda Pereira (Naperville, Ill.), Kaitlyn Pomeroy (La Grange, Ill.), Sydney Wilson (Iowa City, Iowa), Alex Whyte (Waunakee, Wis.) and Lindsay York (High Point, N.C.) for the 2019-20 season, head coach Charlie DiSilvestro announced Friday, Jan. 4.
Kearns is a four-year varsity letterwinner for the Iowa City High School swimming team.
