EDISON, NJ – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announced Thursday, Jan. 30 that Marist College is the 2020 MAAC Women's Rowing Preseason favorite as voted on by the league's head coaches. The Drake University rowing team was picked fourth in the preseason poll.
The Red Foxes, which were the 2019 MAAC champions, were voted first with 100 points and received all 10 first-place votes in the preseason poll in front Jacksonville, which had 89 points.
Stetson placed third in the poll with 77 points followed by Drake with 72 points. Canisius is fifth with 49 points, tailed closely by Robert Morris (47 points) and Fairfield (46).
