DELAND, Fla. – The Drake University rowing team ended its week of spring training in Florida against a pair of Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference opponents Saturday morning on Beresford Lake in DeLand, Fla.
Drake, which started spring break with a few days in Tuscaloosa, Ala., moved to Florida for the rest of the week and closed against Jacksonville and Stetson in four races. The Bulldogs had 2nd varsity 8+, varsity 8+, varsity 4+ and 2nd varsity 4+ boats compete against MAAC foes. Drake was led by its varsity 8+ boat that took second with a time of 07:28.
