MACOMB, Ill. – Rebecca Rodgers (Peotone, Ill.) scored a pair of goals for the Drake University women's soccer team in a 2-1 double overtime win at Western Illinois on Sunday afternoon.
Drake, which is 7-3-1 overall, improved its record in overtime contests to 3-0-1 this season. The Bulldogs have won four-straight and are 6-1-1 in their past eight game matches with the lone loss during that span to No. 9 Wisconsin.
Rodgers' goals made history as she is now the program's all-time leader in goals scored with 33 in her decorated career.
