NEWTON, Kan. -- Drake men's golf has been following the lead of freshman after his opening day performance in the Grier Jones Shocker Invitational on Monday, Oct. 9 at Sand Creek Station Golf Course (Par 72 | 7,182 yards). The Bulldogs (292-286--578) are tied for 11th as a team.
Riegger (70-71--141) was under par in both of the first two rounds as he finds himself in a tie for 17th place overall. He leads Drake with eight birdies through 36 holes. (74-72--146) and (75-72--147) were both even par in the second round.
(73-75--148) was next in the lineup for 36-hole score as (79-71--150) displayed an eight-stroke improvement in round two and recorded Drake's lone eagle of the day.
