EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Drake women's soccer team battled to score two second half goals and force a 2-2 road draw against Evansville at Arad McCutchan Stadium on Thursday, Oct. 13. The Bulldogs moved to 2-7-6 overall and 1-2-4 in the Missouri Valley Conference while the Purple Aces are now 1-8-5 (0-5-3).
The first half proved to be a physical and defensive battle. Drake and Evansville combined for seven total shots. The two teams were even for the most part of the first 45 minutes.
Drake had a chance to score in the first half when found an open shot in the 33rd minute.
