WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Drake University men's tennis team dropped a hard fought 4-3 decision to Purdue Sunday at the Basham Courts.
For the second straight time this weekend the Bulldogs managed to take care of business in doubles to earn an early 1-0 lead. Finley Hall and Ben Wood defeated Stephan Koeningsfest and Maksymilian Raupuk, 6-3, at No. 2 doubles. Juniors Ben Clark and Tom Hands clinched the point with a 7-6 victory at No. 3.
The Bulldogs and the Boilermakers were even through the first set in singles with each team winning the opening set on three courts.
