DES MOINES, Iowa – Rachael Pruett-Hornbaker has resigned as the Drake University women's golf head coach to pursue opportunities outside of athletics, the Drake Athletics Department announced on Monday (Jan. 3).
"I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to coach at Drake," Pruett-Hornbaker said. "I've met so many great people and coached amazing young women. The memories will last a lifetime. I'm excited for this next adventure for me and my family. I am thankful for the understanding of the student-athletes and athletics administration. I look forward to remaining an active member of the Des Moines community and will continue to be a Drake Bulldogs fan!
