COLUMBIA, Mo. -- The Drake University cross country teams impressed at the Gans Creek Classic hosted by Mizzou at Gans Creek Cross Country Course on Friday, Sept. 30. Drake men's cross country finished in fourth place out of 22 teams while the women's squad placed 10th out of 24 teams.
Isaac Basten led the way for the Drake men on Friday morning with a seventh place finish and 8K time of 23:50.3. Aziz Jdai (24:13.0) took 20th and was joined in the same pack for most of the day by Enzo Marie (24:18.
