ST. LOUIS -- Not just one, but two Drake women's soccer student-athletes were recognized in the Missouri Valley Conference weekly awards on Sept. 12. Addie Ford was named Goalkeeper of the Week while Zoey Mahoney received Freshman of the Week status from tehe league.
Ford has been a key part of Drake's four-match unbeaten streak. On Thursday in the 1-1 draw, Ford's 11 saves were the most in a single game by a Drake goalkeeper and the first double-digit save game for the Bulldogs since Kelsie Stone set a program record with 18 saves on Oct.
