The fans in Drake Stadium for the 111th Drake Relays presented by Xtream powered by Mediacom saw the foundations of one of the top seasons in track & field being laid by North Carolina A&T when the Aggies made their first-ever visit to the Drake Relays.
N.C. A&T continued the Drake Relays' legacy of attracting the nation's top teams to the Blue Oval as they were the only program in the NCAA Championship field to have both its men's and women's teams finish in the top four. The Aggie men earned a third-place finish while the women were fourth.
