ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Drake women's thrower Centaine Noom-Duckworth added another MVC Field Athlete of the Week honor to her stellar season. The New Zealand native took gold last weekend to earn her fourth weekly award of the season.
Noom-Duckworth had a top hammer throw of 60.47m/198'-5" and five throws over 59m/194' to finish in 1st place at Iowa State University Alumni Invitational. She threw 3m/9ft farther than the next-best competitor this weekend, was 1st in the MVC by 2m/6ft, was 10th in the Midwest Region, was 19th in the West Qualifying List, was 36th in the NCAA and 7th All-Time in New Zealand.
