NORMAN, Okla. – The Drake track & field team sent several athletes including its top throwers to the John Jacobs Invitational hosted by Oklahoma on Saturday, April 22.
Anthony Barmes won his fourth straight hammer throw event this season with a toss of 226-5 followed by Ethan Marshall (206-7) in third and Adam Phillip's personal record of 198-4 for fourth.
Chandler Haight broke her own Drake women's shot put program record from last week at 51 6 ½ to finish fourth in the shot put
Centaine Noom-Duckworth set her personal best in the women's hammer throw (third place finish) with a heave of 185-6 to rank second all-time in program history.
