ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Junior forward became the third different Drake player to take home the MVC Player of the Week award this season, the league announced this afternoon.
Miller averaged a double-double of 20.0 points and 15.5 rebounds to go along with four blocks as Drake swept a pivotal weekly slate. In Thursday's win over Missouri State, Miller scored 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds while dishing out two assists. She topped that performance on Sunday with a 21-point, 19-rebound effort in a thrilling win over UNI. 11 of her boards against the Panthers came in a massive second half.
