DES MOINES, IOWA -- The Drake University women's basketball team scored 12 points in the final 28.7 seconds of what had been a close game and beat Loyola 84-76 at the Knapp Center on Sunday to gain a regular-season split with the Ramblers.
The Bulldogs got contributions up and down the lineup in beating Loyola for the 10th time in 11 games at home and improving to 12-10 overall and 4-7 in the Missouri Valley Conference. Loyola, which beat Drake 63-46 in Chicago a month ago when the Bulldogs were missing four players, fell to 12-9 and 4-6.
