DES MOINES, Iowa – Mason City native and University of Iowa transfer Megan Meyer has joined the Drake University women's basketball team, Suzie Glazer Burt Head Drake University Women's Basketball Coach Allison Pohlman announced Thursday, June 10.
"We're ecstatic to add Megan to our team!" Pohlman said. "She is a versatile shooting guard with a high motor that has a tremendous basketball IQ. She really fits our up-tempo style of play and is an outstanding addition to our culture."
Meyer, a 5-8 guard, played two seasons for the Hawkeyes and appeared in 40 career games.
