The Drake men's tennis team got off to a hot start on the first day of the Drake Invite, winning every match on the day. The first day of the tournament featured only doubles matches, with every Drake duo coming out victorious.
Oliver Johansson and Matija Matic played three matches, defeating all of their opponents. Matt Clegg and Will Ecklund dominated their second match, defeating their opponents 6-0. Jeremy Schifris and Reid Jarvis played a close match with North Dakota's Victor Moreno Lozano and Ange-Kevin Koua that ended in a 7-6 [7-4] decision.
