DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Drake University men's tennis team ranked in sixth place in the ITA Central Region ranking, released June 8.
In doubles action, the Bulldogs landed two duos in the top ten – Jeremy Schifris, Oliver Johansson at No. 7 and Evan Fragistas and Matija Matic in No. 9.
Schifris also earned a spot in the singles Central Region rankings. He earned the No. 6 ranking of 20 athletes.
The Bulldogs finished the season with a 13-11 overall record, 4-1 in conference play. They finished second in the regular season and won the Summitt League Championship to win an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
