Bloomington, Ill. - The Redbirds took down the Bulldogs in a tight match that was decided by the final singles contest of the day. Drake lost 3-4, lowering its record to 8-7 and 1-1 in the Summit League.

The Bulldogs dropped the doubles point to the Redbirds, losing two matches and leaving the third unfinished. Arvid Hjalte and Nam Pham took down Markus Bolin and Matija Matic 6-3 in the first match to finish. Caden Scarlett and Tomas Valencia followed suit and defeated Jeremy Schifris and Olle Sonesson Lidholt 6-3 to lock in the doubles point for Illinois State.
