MACOMB, Ill. – The Drake University men's soccer team travels east to face Western Illinois on Tuesday night in Macomb.
The Bulldogs earned a thorough win in their last match against Kansas City, a 1-0 win. Junior forward Leroy Enzugusi scored the game-winner via free kick in the 57th minute. Enzugusi recorded career highs in shots (eight) and shots on goal (four) in the win.
Drake's defense pitched its first shutout of 2019, limiting the Roos to just four shots as Luke Anderson picked up two saves. The win boosted the Bulldogs to 2-3-0 on the year.
