MACOMB, Ill. – Freshmen Leroy Enzugusi (Marion, Iowa) scored a late goal for the Drake University men's soccer team in a 2-1 comeback victory at Western Illinois on Wednesday, Sept. 20.
Drake (2-6-0) and Western Illinois (2-5-0) were scoreless until the 60th minute when the Leathernecks scored the first goal when Drew Whalen played a through ball past Bulldog goalkeeper Caden McCullough (Evansville, Ind.).
Drake quickly answered in the 62 minute (62:57) as junior Nic Jaimes (Olathe, Kan.) beat WIU keeper Tim Trilik from five yards out off an assist from Will Nurre (Ankeny, Iowa).
